Recap of FMP.

• I've done my primary research. (My old photographs)
• I've experimented with the photographs in Photoshop.
• Got good feedback from group tutorials
• Done more experimenting on Photoshop with less successful results this time.

What to do

I've got to do some secondary research.

I'm going to look at icons that have been in my life at any point.

 "The Joker" has been one influence already in my work.

I hope to use Bart Simpson from the famous cartoon The Simpson's and will also look at songs I like as more inspiration for my work.

More work for FMP.

I think this is probably my least favourite piece of work I've done up to now.

I'm definitely thinking this is my experimenting period but not fully knowing where the project is going.

With these few pieces i was experimenting with ideas.
The ideas were inspired by tommy pickles from rugrats due to the toddler like picture but also inspired by the bbc one program doctor who.
It's been inspired by Doctor who by the use of colour which is the alien green and the use of magnified eyes.
I like the dark tone these two pieces have but i feel as if they are out of place at the moment and I don't see these pieces of work going anywhere.

Group tutorial & final project update

Due to not going into college I missed a few group tutorials. Now that I've been turning up i recently had one.

I got some good feedback about the work I've created within the last week.

These are the first two pieces I shared with my group.

The feed back i got from the group was they liked the work.My tutor thought that the concept f my project was different and was interested to see where it will go.

This picture i created is from one of my photos.I wanted to create something that tied in the the joker from the batman films this is where my next step to this piece of work comes in.

I think this piece looks more final than the other two.The text is a quote from the film The Dark Knight from the character "The Joker". This is one of my favourite pieces of work I've done.I like the bright bold red to the glowing white coming from the clothes as well as the text. 

Another piece of work i showed to the group was this piece 

This was the first proper piece of work I created for this project.

I remember the group liking this picture too but they weren't exactly blown away from it.

I think its one of my favourite pieces I've created.I like the simplicity of it it also connects to a favourite lyric of mine from the band The xx with the song called VCR.

I used a blue Sharpie to create the text.I'm glad with this piece turned out so i haven't done any more to it and I don't think i wont to either just because i don't want to overcomplicated the picture/work.

Final Major Project Research

As I'm doing my final project based around me. As a starting point I've been looking at pictures from my childhood.The picture i have chosen to put on my blog are the ones that I think have a potential to be used in my project.

Final Major Project

When i first got the Final major project briefing i was quite unsure of what i would like to do only because i felt like there was too much to choose from.

As the topics i had in mind were Demons,my cat,my job.

I chose to go with my Demons at first mostly because its one i haven't done anything related to demons before so i thought it  would be a good chance to see what style i could create and  when i had my group tutorial the feedback was to do the demon topic.

When i got round to doing my proposal i just couldn't write down what i wanted to do for the demon topic so i was struggling but i kept on deciding i will do this as my topic and when it came to the deadline day for handing in the proposal i didnt have it on me as i wasn't sure what to write and do i really want to do it on demons.

I know it sounds stupid but i decided to go home because i was too scared to say i didn't have my proposal for such and such a reason.

In the end i got a bit scared by the idea of having no final major project idea and no proposal i look back now and i should have just gone in and spoke to my tutors as i know it would have helped me a lot.

So when i didn't know what to do i looked at what i wanted to do but i still couldn't decide what to do it wasnt till a few days ago i just a natural brainwave.

Why not make my final major project about me ?
